GRIEF OF EMERALD: New Demo Song Posted Online

January 7, 2009

Swedish black/death metal band GRIEF OF EMERALD has posted a new demo song called "Devils Deep" on the group's MySpace page. The track is expected to appear on GRIEF OF EMERALD's forthcoming album — the group's first release since 2002's "Christian Termination" — which is tentatively due later in the year. Some of the material recorded during the recent sessions may also end up on a proposed split EP with Italian black metallers NEFARIUM.

Commented drummer Carl Karlsson: "We are more focused and more prepared then ever. GRIEF OF EMERALD is more brutal and loaded ready to explode. We are just now searching for a new record label. We hadn't the opportunity to tour for 'Christian Termination' album, so our first move is to tour and find a suitable label for our upcoming release. We are very satisfied with our new song; it's a killer song."
